SmallStonesTallStories

A great WordPress.com site

About

I’m Kathryn Hewitt, mother of a 5 year old son. Arran is in his first year of school and loves hearing and telling stories so when I saw story stones on Pinterest I thought they looked great for him. My 4 year old niece and my son’s school have sets of story stones I’ve made and love them too so I thought I’d see if anyone else liked them…

Story stones are stones with pictures on them to help you make your own stories. My stones have three types; character stones, object stones and places. There are two of each type with a picture on each side. I’ve made three different sets. Here are the fairytale stones:

There should be plenty of interesting combinations. You can tip the stones out and use the pictures uppermost or pick them out of the crochetted bags one at a time. There are no rules, you can use one picture or all of them if you like.
